They now have gorgeous rooms and fancy restaurants but lousy gaming floors. The payouts seem to be below average, the staff not friendly or helpful.

No real draw to make you want to play. I spend days at the Coeur d' Alene casino but find an hour or so is more than enough time at Northern Quest.

The buffet is awful, like hospital cafeteria food, the fast food court also is unappealing, just better to go to the restaurants in town.

I have not eaten at the nicer restaurants inside the casino as the prices are high and as the buffet is so bad it just doesn't seem worth the risk.

See all reviews. They dine out. Robbins gives a snowman a piece of his mind …. The magic happened when Robbins met Stocker. Although according to Baechler, the introduction was not without drama.

Robbins was actually the second choice for the male lead. He was called in because of a lack of chemistry between Stocker and another actor who shall remain nameless.

The first commercial, which coincided with the 10th anniversary of Northern Quest, showed Robbins coming home to find lit candles and his wife waiting for him in lingerie.

Stocker remembers being scared to death. Stocker said strangers often ask her how she got the job. A current ad, for example, shows Robbins seeking medical help for his cabin fever.

The UK player who won the Mega Fortune jackpot decided to keep his identity secret. Another big winner last year was a year-old Scandinavian woman.
